Clubhouse

Sandy Bay Sailing Club is an Australian sailing organisation based in Sandy Bay, Tasmania. Situated on the picturesque Derwent River, the Club provides a friendly but competitive environment for its members. Formed on 1 March 1948, the club has since grown to accommodate a wide range of dinghy classes such as International Cadets, Lasers and International Optimists. The Club caters for sailors of all levels of experience and skill, from beginners to advanced sailors.

SBSC has a variety of different sailing classes, allowing for sailors of all ages to participate, from junior sailors in both the Optimist and Cadet, older teenagers and young adults in the 420, and any age group in both the Laser and Laser Radial.
